Eckoh is a PCI DSS compliant Level One Service Provider and was accredited in July 2010 and then re-accredited in November 2011. Eckoh ensures all our policies meet all our clients' security and quality requirements.

PCI DSS has four levels of attainment, each with different compliance validation procedures. Eckoh has achieved Level One, which is the highest possible standard. To achieve this accreditation, Eckoh was required to conduct a thorough review of its access controls, infrastructure, software, security policies and procedures, and implement any necessary amendments to satisfy the compliance criteria. This was followed by a full and detailed external audit with a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), who tested and confirmed compliance with all the requirements. Eckoh invested over two years and 10,000 man hours to complete the process.

Eckoh is fully accredited to offer solutions to process credit and debit card payments made over telephone, web and mobile. Our payment services helps mitigate the risk for Eckoh's clients by reducing or eliminating the handling of card data by contact centre agents. In addition, by providing a compliant service, Eckoh helps to satisfy its clients' PCI DSS requirements in a cost and effective manner.

Additionally, as a Participating Organisation of the PCI Security Standards Council, Eckoh has access to the latest payment card security standards from the Council, is able to provide feedback on the standards and be part of a growing community that includes more than 500 PCI SSC organisations. In an era of increasingly sophisticated attacks on systems, adhering to the PCI DSS represents an entity’s best protection against data criminals. By being a Participating Organisation, Eckoh is adding its voice to the process.
