Automated Stock Quotation Service
 
In September 2004, Eckoh in partnership with BT delivered an automated stock quotation service for Barclays Stockbrokers. The “Quick Quotes” service, gives callers up to the minute share price intelligence on over 1,722 popular listed stocks and market indices information, without the need to speak with a live customer service advisor. Moreover, the service is designed to be highly flexible with the transfer of priority calls for those customers wishing to trade. To date, Barclay’s “Quick Quotes” service has provided almost 1 million calls

Further Enhancements
 
Eckoh has consistently worked alongside Barclays to develop the “Quick Quotes” service and has recently enhanced caller ability to obtain up to 50 consecutive quotes in a single call. Furthermore, a recording of up-to-date FTSE information has been incorporated into the beginning of each call, in response to heightened market activity and investor interest.
 
Over the past 12 months Eckoh and BT have introduced an automated white label stock quote service for corporate clients in November 05 as well as the launch of a bespoke “Barclays Maturity” and “Share Purchase Express” service, designed to give staff the ability to register and exercise their company share preferences.
 
BT/Eckoh’s browser-based online statistics, measured by volume, type of request and time of day - provide Barclays with all the live Business Intelligence tools they need to monitor call statistics, service performance and traffic peaks from the day’s most popular stocks.
