Eckoh have been Emap's preferred interactive services supplier for over 4 years, providing SMS and IVR services across their 8 TV music channels; The Hits, FHM, The Box, Smash Hits, Magic, Kerrang, Kiss and Q.

Eckoh support weekly competitions and selection lines run by EMAP across their portfolio of TV channels. This allows their viewers to interact with the channels whilst providing Emap with a strong revenue stream.

Recent Innovations

• Emap have recently launched a new SMS text messaging service "The Gimp", whereby viewers are invited to participate via text message.
• During The World Cup, Eckoh set up a service where viewers could text in their comments on the game which was then screened on "The Hits" TV music channel. Part of the service deployment involved the build of a "moderation tool" which allowed Emap to screen the messages before going on air.
