Eckoh provide William Hill with an automated solution for its customers in the UK and Ireland to access results, live racing commentary and call centre services.

Callers dial one number to listen to odds then simultaneously place a bet by selecting a button on their telephone keypad to connect to a live call centre agent. Upon placement of the bet, callers are then returned directly to the action to hear the live race commentary.  As well as providing live commentary on all UK horse race meetings, the service offers the latest in race previews and top tips.

The scalability of Eckoh's platform (capable of handling 8,000 calls concurrently) is of crucial importance to William Hill during busy racing periods, allowing agents to focus on more complex calls whilst enabling punters to connect straight through to live racing commentary without delay.

In February 2006, Eckoh announced a new deal to provide William Hill with an automated horse racing commentary and results service for the Irish market.
