Eckoh Secures Three Year Contract with Flow Energy

Eckoh is pleased to announce a three-year contract with Flow Energy Limited. The contract will provide real-time, PCI DSS compliant web services, so customers can manage their electricity and gas account online.

Flow Energy is a subsidiary of the Energetix Group plc, the developer and provider of energy efficient products and retail energy services. Energetix has recently launched its new consumer energy services business Flow Energy (previously Kingston Energy & Genlec) under the brand 'Flow' and the contract will see Eckoh provide real-time web services that will enable Flow Energy customers to completely manage their account online. Customers will also be able to make payments for their electricity and gas through Eckoh's Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards ("PCI DSS") compliant product, EckohPAY. The service is expected to commence in March 2013.

Flow Energy aims to help households become energy efficient and reduce carbon emissions through providing energy-efficient products and services. The Company provides a unique offer where customers signing up to their dual fuel contract for a minimum period can receive a free Kingston microCHP gas boiler. Once registered, Flow Energy customers will be able to manage their account online, this includes viewing their statements, enter meter readings and make payments. The customer portal will also be available in a version optimised for use on smart phones.

Nik Philpot, Chief Executive Officer of Eckoh, commented: "Eckoh is delighted to announce Flow Energy as a new client, further increasing our market share in the utilities sector. Whilst we are best known for our speech recognition and over-the-phone payments capability, Flow Energy has selected Eckoh to initially provide a web-only solution. Today's announcement reinforces our broad expertise and growing reputation in delivering multi-channel self-service applications. We look forward to working with Flow Energy to implement this innovative new service."

Tony Stiff, Managing Director of Flow Energy, added: "Flow is a unique and ground breaking proposition for consumers in the utility market and we wanted to implement technology that would enhance the service we offer our customers, and enable them to take control of their energy account. We selected Eckoh because of their proven experience in our industry and the customer-centric approach to the design of their solutions, which makes us confident that the service will prove highly successful for our customers and for Flow Energy."
