The Eckoh team is celebrating with its client Hillarys as we picked up the best ‘Security/Anti-fraud Initiative’ at the Retail Systems Award 2016.
Over 400 guests packed into the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair to celebrate the best in technology and innovation within the retail sector. Eckoh and Hillarys came away winners with the secure payments system that Eckoh recently implemented at Hillarys' contact centre and made available to Hillarys' nationwide network of sales advisors.

Eckoh's card data security system called CallGuard, meets the notoriously difficult IT challenge of securing payments made over the phone with agents. It stops customers' card details from being seen or heard by contact centre agents, or stored within their systems. This not only protects customer data from the threat of fraud, but also meets strict Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
Rather than speak their card details over the phone, customers are asked to input them using their telephone keypad. The data is then intercepted in Eckoh's secure hosted platform and kept entirely outside of Hillarys' networks, systems, call recordings and desktop computers.
