Herts Bus Award 900

Eckoh (AIM: ECK), the global provider of secure payment products and customer contact solutions, has been shortlisted for the Large Company of the Year at the Hertfordshire Business Awards 2017.

The submission for this category required Eckoh to show clear evidence of its business strategy, business performance and its approach to employment and training opportunities. Eckoh could demonstrate growth in both the UK and US markets as well as highlight its innovation track record through its patented solutions, world’s first delivery of Apple Pay over a telephone call and secure card payments via Web Chat.

Eckoh were also able to show their outstanding employment and training culture, demonstrating how it creates opportunities, encourages development and is committed to employee wellbeing.

Now, in their 21st year, the awards are judged by figureheads in the world of business in Hertfordshire who will visit each finalist before reaching their final decision. The awards aim to recognise and reward the county’s top business in a variety of different sectors and categories.

This year’s winners will be announced at the awards ceremony being held at Knebworth Barns, Knebworth Park on 23rd November 2017. Over 440 business personnel will gather to celebrate Hertfordshire businesses’ success.

Nik Philpot, CEO at Eckoh, commented: “After winning three Hertfordshire Business Awards in 2013 including Company of the Year, it is fantastic to be shortlisted again. We are extremely pleased to have been put forward for the 2017 awards and believe that reflects the considerable progress Eckoh has made in recent years, the strength of our business and our commitment to our employees. We’re always looking for ways to improve the business, to drive innovation and to offer some of the best opportunities for employment within the county. We’re looking forward to attending the event and learning who this year’s winners will be.”
