What is SOC 2 Certification? 

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates an organization’s controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of customer data. Unlike Type 1, which evaluates a point-in-time snapshot, SOC 2 Type 2 certification involves a rigorous audit of controls over an extended period, proving they are not only designed effectively but also operate consistently over time.

Eckoh partnered with an independent auditor for a meticulous process of evaluation, during which its internal systems, security protocols, and compliance policies were closely monitored and tested. This assessment confirmed that Eckoh’s cloud platforms and processes meet the stringent requirements necessary to achieve SOC 2 Type 2 status.
