Achievement of Cyber Essentials Plus certification

- A key requirement to deliver services to the UK Government
- Underscores Eckoh’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity

Eckoh plc (AIM: ECK), the global provider of Customer Engagement Data Security Solutions, today announces that it has extended its security accredited framework by adding Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) to its extensive and growing list of certifications, alongside a re-certification to Cyber Essentials.

CE+ is the highest level of certification offered under the UK National Cyber Security Centre's (NCSC) Cyber Essentials scheme. The rigorous certification process involved an examination of Eckoh’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that robust cybersecurity measures are in place to safeguard against a range of cyber threats. CE+ is a key requirement for companies wishing to deliver services to the UK Government. It also demonstrates to customers that they can trust Eckoh to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their data.

By gaining this new certification, Eckoh underscores its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and continues to drive its mission to set the standard for secure interactions between consumers and the world’s leading brands.

Organisations that have successfully passed the audit are listed and can be recognised via the NSCS Government portal https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/cyberessentials/search.

Shane Lewis, Group Head of Information Security at Eckoh, said:

“We worked closely with an external audit company who verified that our external and internal infrastructure met the requirements. Cyber Essentials Plus has undoubtedly delivered benefit holistically to the security of the whole Group.

As these standards continue to mature, only the most security-focused organisations are up to the challenge of certifying their whole enterprise. Eckoh continues to exceed the expectations of our global customer base for securing their card, health, and personal data. We continue to enhance Eckoh’s strategic security goals each time we add a new security certificate to our expanding collection of ISOs and PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS (Data Security Standard) accreditations."

Dave Holliday, Global IT Director at Eckoh, said:

“I am immensely proud of the whole team in adding another security accreditation to the list. Whilst the standard is UK-focused, it provides another level of comfort to Eckoh’s global customer base that Eckoh maintains, at its heart, the security and availability of the services we provide to all customers.”
