Agent-Assisted Payments

A payment taken by an agent in communication with a customer.

Agents can be in a contact center or remote/home workers. Communication can be over the telephone, web chat, messenger or other near real-time communication. These payments are usually MOTO rather than eCommerce and need to be secured because they pose a high risk of fraud as the customer's payment details are being provided during the conversation.
