Minimising risk for agent-assisted telephone payments
CallGuard can remove all, or part, of your contact centre from the scope of the PCI DSS audit – simplifying your compliance burden and making it easier to stay compliant. It can also be delivered in different ways – to suit the way your business works.
Whether you choose fully Hosted, On-Demand or On-Site, they all work with any system so, no change is needed to existing networks or infrastructure. What’s more your agent stays in touch with your customer throughout the engagement.
Working with Eckoh
With Eckoh you’ll get not only the solution that is right for you but also one that can truly be implemented quickly and without integration or changes to your systems. Many promise this but few succeed. As it’s not tied to any providers you are free to change suppliers and PSPs to suit your business needs.
Securing payments doesn’t end here either. Through the Eckoh Experience Portal you can also access our other market-leading solutions so you can offer your customer the choice of paying securely within Web Chat, via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal or Pay by Bank app over the phone or via an automated self-service platform so you can take payments at any time of day, or night.
How we helped allpay
Eckoh was the only business to use its own technology in its own contact centre to process payments on behalf of its clients. This was a clear differentiator for us and we believe CallGuard will be a great answer to many of our clients’ PCI challenges. We’re extremely excited to share Eckoh’s technology and have had a very positive response.

Here's the benefits
- Achieve and maintain PCI DSS compliance very minute of every day
- Ease the burden of compliance for your organisation
- Minimise the risk of fraud or impact of a data breach
- Keep your customer and agent in contact throughout
- No data is seen, heard, stored or recorded
- As the data is not in your systems there is nothing there to steal.
DTMF stands for Dual Tone Multi-Frequency and refers to the sound made when you press a key on your telephone keypad. Masking these tones by converting them into monotones prevents anyone from identifying the actual numbers.
This technology is unique to Eckoh and protected by patents in the UK and US. It takes sensitive card data and replaces it in any systems with placeholder data making the data in the contact centre system meaningless and so of no value to thieves.
